Creole Connection’s founder, Kalli Padgett, envisioned a platform to reinvent how art interacts with its community through its life cycle.

Art with measurable impact carries more value and gives purpose to creativity.

How we started.

“Louisiana Creole” As we understand it, is a term referring to the many ethnic groups who settled in Louisiana before it became part of America through the Louisiana Purchase. A Rich landscape of fertile soil, the Mississippi River, and a plethora of wildlife provided for a thriving economy of trade. Despite differences, folks came together and created a harmonious way of life. Using art as a catalyst, we aim to grow qualities of the Creole mindset into a thriving wealth of opportunity for everyone.

Creole Connection’s founder, Kalli Padgett, envisioned a platform to reinvent how art moves through its life cycle. Artists are respected as business partners and new technologies are used to help grow the careers of everyone involved.

New Orleans is constantly changing. We want to preserve its history and ensure that the people moving into our space understand their place in contributing locally. Creole Connection is a creative co-working community.

Next steps:

Our focus now is reaching enough funding to eventurally obtain property. Through a solidified location our projects would be created and showcased in a fully functioning community space / studio.
This space would contain funding from the many different entities and projects that flow through the space, contain a collection of educational experiences, and contunie to connect Nola's entrepreneurial and creative communities.
