On Mardi Gras night, I followed the sound of music into the Royal Frenchmen courtyard to find the Trumpet Mafia playing an epic set to a vibrant crowd. Throughout the set, Emily stood out to me 1st because of her leading on trumpet but secondly because of her incredible pants. Thought to myself: I’ve GOT to paint those pants with a pallet knife.
